Download Warden for macOS

Two ways to install. Both give you the 7-day free trial — no payment details needed to start.

Direct download

Download Warden.dmg

Open the DMG and drag Warden to your Applications folder. On first launch macOS asks for the permission Warden needs to intercept input events — grant it under System Settings › Privacy & Security.

Homebrew

If you prefer the command line:

$brew install --cask ParthJadhav/warden/warden

System requirements

  • macOS 15.2 or later
  • Permission to intercept input events, granted on first launch
  • An internet connection for license activation and periodic validation — Warden works offline in between

Licensing

  • 7-day free trial, no card required to start
  • $3.99 USD afterwards — one-time lifetime license, not a subscription
  • Up to 3 Macs per license
  • Lifetime updates included

Trouble activating? Email me@parthjadhav.com or see the support page.

What Warden does once installed

  • Blocks keyboard, mouse, and trackpad input at the macOS event-tap layer
  • Unlocks with Touch ID or macOS password
  • Covers all connected displays
  • Can prevent sleep while locked
  • Works locally after license activation
  • No telemetry, tracking, or data collection
